$145,000 in grant funding for business: the results of the Impactpreneurship 4.0 social entrepreneurship course in Pavlohrad

The social entrepreneurship course Impactpreneurship 4.0 in Pavlohrad is being delivered by the NGO International Agency for Change with the assistance of Action Against Hunger and funding from the Disasters Emergency Committee.

The theoretical part of the course ran for two months. Around 400 Pavlohrad residents studied at the same time, but not everyone made it to the finale. The logical conclusion of Impactpreneurship 4.0 was the development and presentation of one's own social business idea. As a result of the training, 50 people reached the Impactpreneurship 4.0 finale, among them both existing entrepreneurs and people who had only just set out on the entrepreneurial path.

For two days in a row, on 2 and 3 July, the finalists gathered at the city leisure center to present their business projects before the course jury. The jury included representatives of Action Against Hunger, the NGO International Agency for Change, and entrepreneurs with many years of experience from Pavlohrad and Kyiv.

The finalists' presentations were highly creative, and their business ideas were compelling enough to be brought to life in Pavlohrad. Out of 50 ideas, 29 winners were selected, each receiving $5,000 in grant funds to develop their business. That is how one of the course's key stages, Impactpreneurship 4.0, came to a close.

Ahead of the winners lie two months of hard work with mentors and business advisers, so they can bring their projects to life and build sustainable social enterprises.
