BRIDGES BEYOND BORDERS: Synergies Between Ukrainian Civil Society and the Diaspora for Recovery and European Integration

The war has separated millions of Ukrainians geographically, but not in purpose. Today, more than ever, we need to unite the efforts of Ukrainians both at home and abroad for the sake of rebuilding the country and securing its European future.

We invite you to an international online conference:

"BRIDGES BEYOND BORDERS: Synergies Between Ukrainian Civil Society and the Diaspora for Recovery and European Integration."

What we will talk about:

We will look at the diaspora as a strategic resource: opportunities to exchange knowledge, attract funding for projects in Ukraine, and develop international networks.

Overcoming internal barriers: we will bridge the divide between "those who stayed" and "those who left" in order to foster mutual respect and solidarity for the sake of Ukraine's recovery and European integration.

From competition to partnership: we will discuss ways for civic initiatives to work together.

The power of a shared voice: we will learn how to shape a modern image of Ukraine in Europe through the media.

A practical example:

During the conference we will present the experience of Ukraine-Schweiz Bern. Representatives of the organization will share:

Programs for integrating Ukrainians in Switzerland;

Results of a youth platform for leadership development;

Twinning initiatives between Swiss and Ukrainian NGOs;

Experience running media projects that strengthen Ukraine's "soft power" abroad.
