“Mykola” Farm: a success story of participants of the Impactpreneurship 3.0 social entrepreneurship course

The "Mykola" farm is an example of how a local initiative can grow into a social enterprise that changes the life of a community.

The "Mykola" social farm was founded on 20 February 2022 in partnership with the NGO "Perspektyvy" in the Pereshchepyne community. The idea was simple and ambitious at the same time: to create a farm that would combine craft production with social support for people affected by the war.

What is the "Mykola" social farm today?

It is a farm that has become a social enterprise, because its work contributes to the development of the community: it creates jobs in rural areas; supports families left without work because of the war; supplies humanitarian initiatives with natural produce; and promotes a culture of healthy eating.

Every jar bought, every kilogram of produce, is a contribution to the development of the local community.

From point "A" to point "B"

The "Mykola" farm team came to Impactpreneurship 3.0 with a business already up and running, but facing the difficulty of scaling and the need for a clear growth strategy.

During the course the team rewrote its mission and values, worked through its legal and organisational policies, refined its target segments and growth points, and put together a clear plan for launching new products.

After the grant and mentoring support, the farm team made a leap forward, purchasing new processing equipment, increasing production volumes, launching a new product line, and raising its organisational capacity and quality standards.
