A success story of participants of the Impactpreneurship 3.0 social entrepreneurship course. GoRodyna is a school-based social enterprise that teaches pupils not just to make a product, but to build business processes, make decisions and think entrepreneurially. Growing, drying and packing herbal teas is only the visible part. The project’s main value is that children gain skills that stay with them for a long time: planning, responsibility, teamwork, building their own venture and understanding how the real economy works. When the team came to study on the Impactpreneurship 3.0 social entrepreneurship course, they had fair experience, enthusiasm and a dream of growth. What they lacked was the key thing, understanding how to turn a small initiative into a systematic project. The training was not easy, power cuts, unstable internet, piles of materials and deadlines. But step by step the team built a strategy and learned communications, fundraising, facilitation and product development. And so the GoRodyna project received a grant for its development! And that was a new level. The team purchased specialised equipment, set up the space and launched a full cycle of producing genuine Ukrainian tea. The result did not take long: in three months the pupils made 792 packs of craft tea. In parallel they completed 12 master classes, learned to work as a team, plan expenses and analyse the market…
